Imagine you are exploring a dark cave. The cave wall is very smooth, as though it's carpeted with silk, and boy, it's quiet in here. The texture of the walls must be deadening sound, even the sound of your breathing. You are breathing?

Bother! The feeble beam of the headlamp you have strapped to your forehead has gone completely out. Thank goodness you have spare batteries in your pocket. Silly billy, you knew you should have changed them before you came in.

Wow! it's dark in here, but happily, you can fumble your way through changing batteries by feel in the dark. Battery one goes this way, the second one the opposite, and the third this way again. Nearly done.

What was that? A bristling noise ahead! Where's the damn headlamp switch? Click. Aaaaaaaaaaarrh...!
